The GWC volunteers can actively participate at the center of our local partner where they would learn about topics like nutrition (preparing natural local vegetarian food), herbal medicine (tinctures and ointments), gardening, tailoring, vegetable planting, preparing compost, vermicompost, promoting the use of dry bath, fruit harvest for transformation, seed and local plant conservation, domestic animal maintenance (chicken, sheep), experimental beekeeping, and fungi cultivation etc. Such initiatives help develop local economy through the production of Cotzalselch cooperative, with workshops and the store-cafeteria for the product commercialization. The activities more or less depend upon the local weather. In the free time, volunteers can have fun by sharing manual and crafty activities, enjoy river baths and take walks to the waterfall etc. Join hands with GWC and help poor villagers live life with a smile and dignity and be the force behind the “Change”.
